Gewürztraminer is an aromatic white grape variety, typical exotic flavours and aromas of lychee and rose petal define the grape with the best examples retaining some refreshing acidity. Because of its complexity and texture it is a good food wine. Look for examples from Alsace, Germany, New Zealand and Chile.
