Located on the South Eastern Ridge of the Mt. Lofty Ranges the estate enjoys slightly higher average temperature than the rest of the Adelaide Hills, but the altitude confirms it as a true cool-climate site. The estate grows a wide variety of grapes including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon , Chardonnay , and Sauvignon Blanc.

The estate's viticulturist, Dino Cotsaris, farms the estate with minimal intervention to ensure the lowest impact on the local flora and fauna.

In the winery, winemakers Peter Saturno and Brian Walsh craft fresh and aromatic wines using stainless steel and French oak barrels.
