Musella Winery
Musella Winery
Verona, Italy

Musella Winery is owned and run by the Pasqua family. Its 35 hectares of vineyards are located in a protected natural park just outside Verona in the Veneto region of Northern Italy.

The climate at Musella is continental and perfectly suited to growing grapes for the iconic Valpolicella Ripasso and Amarone wines of the region. The main grapes grown are the native Corvina , Corvinone and Rondinella.

The energetic daughter of the family, Maddalena, manages the vineyards and led the estate towards organic farming. The resultant wine quality then inspired Musella towards their current fully Demeter certified Biodynamic farming status.

Enrico Raber, the nephew of Signor Pasqua uses a mixture of stainless steel, concrete eggs and experimental local granite vats for fermentation before ageing in large format oak casks.
